Dr. Chaoran Cui was born in 1987 in Jinan, China. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the Information Retrieval Lab of Shandong University in 2015, under the supervision of Prof. Jun Ma (马军). Prior to that, he received his bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Shandong University in 2010. During 2015-2016, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Singapore Management University, in collaboration with Prof. Jialie Shen. He is currently a full professor in School of Computer Science and Technology at Shandong University of Finance and Economics.

Research interest:

• Machine learning: domain adaptation/generalization, test-time adaptation, vision-language model generalization, semi-supervised learning, and related applications.
• Data Mining: educational data mining and financial data mining.
